The Kansas radar after a job well done

  • A five star dinner made out of emergency rations….
  • Clauda and Susanne are taking the first-class trip in the Toyota. The car is crammed with radar equipment and the antennas are dragged behind it.
  • Steff is drill constructor and mechanic, in charge of ice core drilling. He is carrying all equipment for drilling the 3 planned shallow icecores with a depth of 70-100 m.
  • Maria and Peter from Germany. They manage a radar system on sleds and snowscooters
  • Lars is driving around, setting up sticks to measure the iceflow.
  • Sverrir is the chief mechanic. Do as he says or you are in trouble!
