  • Despite the royal visit was reduced to only 3 hours Her Majesty and His Royal Highness had time for a tour about the NEEM camp.
  • On July 09 Her Majesty and His Royal Highness from Denmark, Kuupik Kleist from Greenland and Rigsombudsmand Mikaela Engell visited the NEEM camp.
  • The Royal visit was reduced from an overnight stay to 3 hours in camp due the weather situation. All visitors left with The Norland Twin Otter late in the afternoon.
  • The drillhead that reached bedrock on July 27, 2010 at the dept 2537.36 m is getting big attention.
  • NEEM received a group of high school students from Greenland, Denmark and the U.S. During their two hour stay, the students were shown all camp and introduced to the scientific activities at NEEM.
